The lid is a book matched  panel of snakewood floating in an ebony frame with an ebony knob.
No stains are used. This is the natural color of the wood.
 The  bottom of the  interior is lined with ivory suede cloth.
Perfect for a valet or jewelry box.
This box is signed and all the woods used are listed on the bottom.
