The body of this stunning jewelry box is Caribbean rosewood (chechen) The lid is a "mappa burl veneered panel framed in wenge with a cherry  and amboyna burl border inlay. The knob is  amboyna burl. the sliding top tray is removable. The tray and dividers are sapele and cherry. The bottom and tray are lined with tan suede cloth. This box is signed and all the woods used are listed on the bottom. This beautiful one-of-a-kind box is finished at least three coats of pre-catalysed lacquer and hand rubbed to a high luster.
