This stunning jewelry box has a unique look and feel. The gently curved body is solid African bubinga and the corners are reinforced with ebony "Butterfly" splines. The lid is a birch veneered panel with a rosewood frame with the hand made spalted tamarind and Gabon ebony inlaid banding strip.  The knob is wenge with bloodwood butterfly inlays. No stains are used. This is the natural color of the woods. The tray and dividers are made of cherry with ebony with a curly maple on the tray. This box is signed and all the woods used are listed on the bottom. This beautiful one-of-a-kind box is finished with special oils and waxes and hand rubbed to a high luster.
