This body of this handsome  box is African sapele with wenge dovetail splines at the mitered corners The lid is a veneered  panel of walnut burl over walnut with a concealed slot hinge. No stains are used. This is the natural color of the wood. The box is signed and all the woods used are listed on the bottom. Bottom lined with tan suede cloth.
