This stunning tea box is constructed of African wenge using snakewood legs and dovetail splines at the mitered corners. The lid is a veneered panel of amboyna burl framed in sapele with a snakewood border inlay and a  snakewood knob. The spaces will hold the larger 3 x 3 3/4 bags. The lid is hinged with solid brass Brusso hinges. The dividers are cherry and can be removed. This box is signed and all the woods used are listed on the bottom. This beautiful one-of-a-kind box is finished with special oils and waxes and hand rubbed to a high luster.
