This gorgeous tea box is created from South American goncalo alves (tigerwood) with wenge splines. The lid is a veneered panel of amboyne burl framed in wenge with a walnut  and cocabolo border inlay. The dividers are sapele. The solid brass hinges are by "Brusso" . No stains are used. This is the natural color of the wood. This box is signed and all the woods used are listed on the bottom. This beautiful one-of-a-kind box is finished with special oils and waxes and hand rubbed to a high luster.
