This body of this box is cocobolo woth wenge dovetail splines at the mitered corners.
The lid is a solid cocobolo piece with a a curly maple frame amd a carved wenge finial.
No stains are used. This is the natural color of the wood. Lined with tan suede cloth
Great piece just to look at and admire. I keep incense in mine.
The box is signed and all the woods used are listed on the bottom.
