End Grain Cutting Boards hand crafted in America using exotic and domestic woods. Designed and built by an American Artisan, Using Natures Own Colors
Why End Grain?
With end grain, the orientation of the fibers allow them to open up to accept the knife edge , which makes them easier on the edge; and close back when the edge is off the board. This makes them self-healing and does not allow bacteria to get into the board. Each board is sealed with 3 coats of General Finishes Salad Bowl finish and is hand rubbed with Howard’s Beeswax and Mineral oil Butcher Block Conditioner which makes it further impervious to contamination. Each board has non-skid rubber feet attached with stainless steel screws.
