This unique heirloom box is made of wenge with morado "outrigger" legs at the mitered corners.The top is a walnut burl veneered panel in a sapele frame with a cherry, maple and wenge border inlay.It has a hand carved wenge handle. This floating box design was inspired by the Polynesian canoes we observed on our "Around the world Sailing Adventure".
All the woods used have their natural finish.
The box has a hand rubbed Osmo ® polyx-oil finish, a combination of vegetable oils and waxes.
Each box is signed all the woods used are engraved in the bottom.
Bottom lined with espresso pigskin suede leather.
