This unique heirloom box is made of cherry with morado "outrigger" legs at the mitered corners.The top is a cherry veneered panel in a Peruvian walnut frame with a cherry and wenge border inlay.It has a hand carved olive wood handle. This floating box design was inspired by the Polynesian canoes we observed on our "Around the world Sailing Adventure".
All the woods used have their natural finish.
The box has a hand rubbed Osmo ® polyx-oil finish, a combination of vegetable oils and waxes.
Each box is signed all the woods used are engraved in the bottom.
Bottom lined with espresso pigskin suede leather.
