This unique box is made of canarywood with bloodwood "outrigger" legs suspended by maple dowels at the mitered corners.The top is a solid canarywood panel in a sapele frame.The top panel has a border inlay of bloodwood.
It has a hand carved morado and maple handle. This floating box design was inspired by the Polynesian canoes we observed on our "Around the world Sailing Adventure".
All the woods used have their natural finish.
The box has a hand rubbed Osmo ® polyx-oil finish, a combination of vegetable oils and waxes.
Each box is signed all the woods used are engraved in the bottom.
Bottom lined with espresso pigskin suede leather.
Size 11 x 7 x 3 , Woods: canarywood, bloodwood, sapele, morado and maple.
