This contemporary Tea Box is created from American cherry. The construction utilizes wenge dovetail splines at the mitered corners. The top is a veneered walnut burl panel with an amboyna burl knob.
The lid is hinged with solid brass Brusso stop hinges.
The box has a hand rubbed Osmo ® polyx-oil finish, a combination of vegetable oils and waxes.
Each box is signed and dated and all the woods used are listed on the bottom.
Size 10 x 6 1/2 x 4, Woods; cherry, wenge, walnut burl and amboyna burl.
